Performance Results

The information herein provides performance guidance to application developers who will be using LLNL's supercomputers. Information is provided to address the following common questions:

  • How do LLNL machines compare to another?
  • What are the basic elements that will affect my application's run time, and how do they compare across machines?
  • What is the potential payoff for strategies aimed at trading communication and computation?
  • How do various MPI strategies compare for doing common operations?
